About

A small host that publishes the boring parts.

Rootz is not a marketplace of other people’s servers with our logo on the invoice. We own the racks we list. When we peer, we say who.

The name is a joke that stuck. Root access was the product, not a paid add-on hidden under “managed”. Customers who want aaPanel get it installed. Customers who want a blank Debian image get that instead, with the same invoice.

Support is a ticket queue with names on it. The night shift is two people, not a language model that closes tickets by wishing you a great day. If we break something, the status page says which city and which host class.

This website is the storefront you are looking at now. Orders placed here are a local demo so you can click through the flow before FOSSBilling and aaPanel are wired on the VPS.

Two racks in Frankfurt. Friends, then their friends, then a real invoice.

  2. 2023

Amsterdam and London. First dedicated SKU. Stopped reselling someone else’s VPS.

  3. 2024

Dallas and New York. Game panel split from the VPS product so wipes did not need a sysadmin.

  4. 2025

Singapore and Sydney. Moved billing off a spreadsheet and onto FOSSBilling.

  5. 2026

aaPanel became the default web stack. Public status page stopped being a screenshot.
